Join Tacoma Public Schools, the City of Tacoma, and Korsmo Construction for the annual Trades & Hiring Fair, an event focused on workforce opportunities for those 16-24 years old. This free event is open to all Pierce County youth, families and community members, including current high school students, recent graduates, and young adults.
Many employers are hiring on-site, interviewing for internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level careers. Bring your resume!
What to Expect:
-Meet 100+ employers across high-demand industries such as construction, skilled trades, healthcare, maritime and more
-Connect with colleges, training centers and apprenticeship programs
-Learn how you can earn college credit and industry-recognized credentials while still in high school
-Preview the new Maritime|253 Skills Center, a regional skills center opening in 2026
