Full day Teacher Professional Learning in the early education and care sector @ The University Gallery10-12noon Session one: NEW Time to Move and Munch TPL.
This fun, interactive and practical based course has been designed to provide an understanding of Aboriginal dance and the benefits of sustainable native ingredients.
12-2pm Lunch and curatorial walk thru
2-4pm Session two: How to implement Aboriginal perspectives
NESA accredited course ‘How to Embed Aboriginal Perspectives’ which provides constructive strategies for educators to embed Aboriginal perspectives into your service, developing confidence in implementing authentic Aboriginal content into daily programming.
Participants will gain a better understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, hear how the Close the Gap policy relates to the early education and care sector and develop a culturally safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
