[Turn on All Notifications] Deck out your ruck and don your most festive apparel on Sunday, December 14th, join the United War Veterans Council (UWVC), Team RWB, Travis Manion Foundation & Big Apple Area Ruckers (B.A.A.R), on a Toys for Tots NYC Ruck. This 1.5-mile ruck is family friendly and we will move at a conversational pace. The concept is to carry your gifts inside your ruck/pack, while having great camaraderie and meeting new friends. Please bring an new unwrapped toy (or shove as many toys as you can) in your ruck/pack to donate to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
TOYS FOR TOTS RUCK
• 11:00am meet up at the Lincoln Center Plaza Fountain.
• The 1.5 mile ruck route will cover the most seasonally decked out parts of NYC. We will pass by Central Park South, the Plaza Hotel, 5th Ave shops and window displays and St Patrick’s Cathedral before finishing at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, where the U.S. Marines will meet us to receive the toys.
• Participants will receive a free Nightmare Before Christmas patch courtesy of the United War Veterans Council.
PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING A NEW, UNWRAPPED TOY TO BE GIFTED TO TOYS FOR TOTS!
