Toy Story 5 brings the toys into a new kind of threat: not another toy, not another owner, not another moving truck disaster, but the digital world itself.
Which is exactly why this one feels worth discussing.
Because underneath the Pixar polish, this is a very modern anxiety: what happens to play when childhood moves onto screens? What happens to old forms of love when attention changes? What happens to objects, memory, imagination, loyalty, and friendship when the world decides the old magic is inefficient?
Woody and Buzz reunite.
Jessie and Bullseye are missing.
The toys are facing a world where being loved might not look the same anymore.
