I am so excited to share something new this year… we’re hosting a Toy Drive Kick-Off Party at 99 Bottles on Tuesday, October 7th! 🎉
If you know me, you know how much I LOVE the holidays...ALL the holidays in the 'ber months.” 🍂🎃🦃🎄 That’s why this idea makes me so happy! It’s a fun way to celebrate the season early, while also giving back to families who need it most.
I know, I know, it’s barely September and we’re already talking toys and tinsel. But let’s be honest… the holidays always sneak up faster than a kid spotting candy on Halloween! 👻🍭🎄 This night is the perfect way to kick off the season, mix a little “spooky season” fun with early holiday cheer, and drop off a toy if you know your December will be packed with travel, family, and parties.
And don’t worry, our Grand Finale Toy Drive Party is still happening the first week of December! This October event is just an early gift for those who want to join in but might miss out later.

The need is also real. Just this week, Children First shared with me that they alone will be providing for 90 families and nearly 300 children this holiday season. That’s why I love the idea of starting early, so together, we can make sure no child is forgotten.
Bonus: 99 Bottles will be collecting toys all week long, from Tuesday, Oct. 7th through Friday, Oct. 10th! That means if you’re part of their Wednesday Run Club (Oct. 8th), you can “run” a toy over too. (see what I did there?) 🏃‍♂️🎁
This early start also helps us spread the word and get more local businesses excited about hosting collection boxes now through the first week of December. Not only the more, the merrier but the more toys we’ll have to share with kids who need it most this holiday season.
Come celebrate, sip, laugh, and help us spread some holiday joy a little early...because who says Christmas can’t start in October? 😉🎅👻🎁
As always, the toys that are collected with benefit SPARCC, Mother's Helping Mothers, Children First and Child Protection Center and they will be distributed the first week in December.
