We’re beyond excited to be making our very first appearance at the Town of Clarkstown’s Summer Concert Series on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026!
We’ll be performing on the main stage at Lake Nanuet. This event it rain or shine (rain location TBD).

The Georgia 5: 80's Dance Party is the area’s original & longest-running 80’s party band, performing all the biggest “feel good” hits from the first decade of MTV!
Band Biography:
Big hair. Capezio shoes and Members Only jackets. Leg warmers, parachute
pants and skinny ties. Nothing defined a decade more than the fashion of
the 1980’s, but when a new cable channel called MTV quietly went on the air
in August of 1981, everything changed. Not only could you hear your
favorite music, in stereo, now you could see it, too. Video killed the radio
star, and the rest is history.
A decade later, a group of close high school friends formed the Georgia 5:
80’s Dance Party and began to hone their 80’s show. They played all the
hits they grew up with, by the artists who made up the soundtrack to their
adolescence; The Cars, Loverboy, J. Geils Band, The Police, Van Halen,
Billy Idol, The Romantics, Duran Duran, The Stray Cats, Human
League and The Knack. Fast forward to today and these songs still make
people feel good.
The Georgia 5: 80’s Dance Party takes you on a musical journey back to
the best of times. It’s as though you’re at the hippest backyard party in the
neighborhood with a giant boom box playing your favorite mix tape. Gnarly!
