Tour Two Apogee Gardens in Multnomah Village with Designer

APLD Oregon invites you to visit two Apogee Landscapes-designed residential gardens and learn about the design process behind these beautiful spaces. Landscape designer Molly Warren will guide the tour, sharing insights into each project's design and installation. Light refreshments will be available between the first and second tour properties.

After the tours, we'd love for you to continue the conversation and join us for a casual, no-host gathering at Lucky Lab in Multnomah Village. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and everyone is welcome!

Project 1: Small yard, big budget

The client wanted to fit a lot into the relatively small yard of his new-build home. The main focus was on entertaining - improving the covered concrete slab patio and adding amenities like a hot tub and outdoor kitchen. We subcontracted this design to Marina Wynton of Olivine Land and completed the majority of the installation in the winter of 2025, wrapping up a few items this spring.

Project 2: Will be in progress at the time of the tour. Small yard, modest budget.

This client has a quite narrow, recently subdivided lot next to other new housing developments. The main goal of for this project is to upgrade the lot from builder-grade and increase privacy, while staying within the clients’ budget. The whole back yard is a currently a deck, so we will be removing it and installing very intentional patios and plantings to create a lush and private space.

Meet Molly Warren:

I grew up in St. Louis, MO before heading west for college. I entered college with the intention of studying agriculture, but shifted to horticulture, wanting a more creative outlet. In 2018, I graduated, earning a BS in Horticulture with a concentration on Sustainable Landscape Management and Design from California Polytechnic State University. I moved to Portland in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the gorgeous neighborhoods, lush landscapes and kind people here. I have been an estimator, designer and salesperson for Apogee Landscapes for 4 ½ years now. I, along with our incredibly talented team, work with primarily residential clients to bring their landscape dreams to reality.
