Join us on Friday, October 16, from 5-8pm for a behind-the-scenes tour of downtown Macon's transformative development.
NewTown Macon's Tour of Progress, presented by Cadence Bank, provides a sneak peek of projects underway and a look into what programs fuel our vibrant downtown. This year marks NewTown Macon's 30th anniversary, making this tour a celebration of three decades of investing time, resources, and money in local people and businesses to revitalize downtown Macon. This event is family-friendly and free.
The tour starts at Gilmer Warehouse and ends at Neel's Lofts, where we will have a party in the courtyard! NewTown's familiar faces will lead tours, starting at 5pm and leaving every 10 minutes. The last tour you can sign up for and attend is at 6:30pm.
If you would like to take the tour but need mobility assistance, please email [email protected]. The mobility tour will be offered at 6pm. We have limited spots available on all tours.
Tours are first come, first served. Please register so we can give you the best experience at this fun, informative celebration of 30 years downtown.
