As part of the countywide celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence, the Muskingum 250: Tour of Greenwood Cemetery invites you to walk into the stories of the people who shaped our earliest years.
In partnership with the Renner Theatre and the Muskingum County Library System, this immersive walking tour brings history to life. Local actors will portray Revolutionary War veterans, War of 1812 soldiers, and influential pioneers—sharing their experiences through vivid first‑person storytelling.
Stroll the winding paths, meet the voices of Muskingum County’s past, and gain a deeper understanding of their sacrifices, challenges, and contributions to both our community and the young United States.
This unique program blends dramatic performance, local heritage, and community remembrance—offering a meaningful way to honor the generations who built the place we call home.
