Spirit of the Mo
Tour Do Mo has been created to push the boundaries of your own creation and see how fast you can go on your bicycle within 24hrs.
The cost of entry for this event is $150 which includes a custom designed jersey. Riders understand there is an inherent risk Participation in this event and should seek their own insurance options
The 24hr event commences at midday Saturday 7 November and concludes midday Sunday 8 November. Riders may choose to ride 12 hours which can be at anytime during this period. Riders choosing to ride 6hrs are asked to ride the 6am till midday period on Sunday 8 November.
This is not a race. This is about creating positive
Relationships with others and forming bonds forged by pain.
We encourage each and every rider to respect each other and encourage each other. You don’t know what kind of pain the other person is going through outside this event
The circuit is not a closed course and anyone can join us at any stage. We ask that you keep left when riding around the track
When passing other riders please let them know you are coming past. Feel free to chat for a bit before passing
Front lights and rear lights must be used during night times. Heat and weather events may require event organisers to pull riders from the track for their own safety
Riders are responsible for their own food and hydration for the duration of their ride. No one is expected to ride the full 24hrs and breaks are needed
Each person will be assigned an area to set up their station. It is recommended that you bring your own esky, chair and table. We recommend extra shoes and 3 extra kits to change into as a minimum. Battery packs for mobile phones and head units are also advised.
This is an unsupported supported event. Any of your friends and family can come along and provide assistance to you and other riders at any stage. This can be through nutrition, hydration or even riding on the course.
Teams are encouraged to join and will be a minimum 4 and maximum 6 riders. There must be a rider present at the track at all times during the 24hr period. We encourage all riders to be present for the last hour of the 24hr event to celebrate their achievement.
