Registration opens February 1, 2026!The Tour de Madison is an annual cycling event held in Madison, Virginia, benefiting the Madison County Parks and Recreation Authority. In 2026, the event will be produced and managed by Blue Ridge Cyclery Events Promotions.
The 38th Annual Tour de Madison will take place rain or shine on May 23, 2026. The Metric Century and Intermediate routes will start and finish at Hoover Ridge Park off Fairgrounds Road in Madison, VA. By popular demand, the Family Route returns to the Criglersville area, with check-in at Criglersville School for pre-registered riders.
Each year, cyclists from across the region and beyond gather for this much-anticipated event. Riders of all ages and ability levels come together to celebrate cycling, creating an energetic, welcoming atmosphere throughout the community. Participants can choose from three route options: a Metric Century (65 miles), an Intermediate Route (45 miles), or a relaxed beginner-friendly ride (digital route is 22 miles), but can be extended or reduced as needed.
