Mark your calendars for a fun, chill Tour de District 1 bike ride on Sunday, October 5th!
We’ll start at 10:30am at the Railyard Water Tower and swing by the Plaza and up Canyon Road before a coffee stop at Downtown Subscription. Then we’ll grab the River Trail and take a break at Alto Park before heading towards the west end of the district with a stop for lunch at Cafe Castro. Next we’ll take the Maez Street cut through and take a break at Ashbaugh Park before getting on the Acequia Trail back to the Railyard, where we can grab a drink or ice cream if folks are up for that.
12 miles total, but no major hills and we’ll take it slow with lots of breaks. We won’t be on busy streets, it’ll mostly be paved trails. Bring money for food and coffee, and you don’t have to stay for the whole thing if you don’t want. I hope to see you and your bike then!
