Join us for the next chapter of our Touch the Sky Series as we hike to the highest point in New Jersey at High Point State Park. Rising 1,803 feet above sea level, this summit rewards hikers with panoramic views stretching across three states, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania — a breathtaking reminder of just how much beauty lies close to home.We’ll follow a scenic loop through pine forests and along quiet ridgelines, soaking in crisp early-spring air and sweeping mountain vistas. Whether you’re chasing a summit goal or simply looking to reconnect with nature, this is the perfect day to get outside, move, and take in the view from the top.
Event Details
📍 Location: High Point State Park, NJ
🕙 Meet Time: 10:00 AM at the trailhead
🥾 Hike Duration: ~4–5 miles | Moderate difficulty | ~3 hours total
🌲 Terrain: Rolling forest trails with a steady climb to the summit tower
🛻 Return back to NYC: Approx. 5:00 PM
