Our first Field Trip is to the SOIL exhibition at Somerset House:

This groundbreaking exhibition unites visionary artists and thinkers from around the world to explore the remarkable power and potential of soil. Through a range of artworks, artefacts and innovative approaches, visitors are invited to reconsider the crucial role soil plays in our planet's health. The exhibition delivers a message of hope and urgency, encouraging a more sustainable, harmonious relationship with the Earth—if we choose to act now.

About Touch Grass

Touch Grass is an outdoor community for queer women and non-binary people of colour.

We are committed to fostering community growth through outdoor gatherings and wellness-focused trips that encourage us to rekindle our relationship with nature. Our immersive experiences go beyond relaxation—it's about empowerment, wellness, and forging meaningful connections.

Our vision is for queer people of colour to see the outdoors as a space where we belong. A Natural England study found that White people are 70% more likely than Black and Asian people to spend time in the countryside. We want to change this. We deserve to reap the benefits of improved emotional well-being and physical health too.

We believe creativity and nature go hand in hand, which is why most of our events encourage you to embrace nature and your inner creative spirit.
