Hands on Haven returns to the Winter Haven Regional Airport on Saturday, October 25, 2025, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.—a free, family-friendly day to climb aboard big vehicles, meet the crews, and explore hands-on tech. Start at the “Start Here” station to grab a bag and passport for the Truck or Treat loop (costumes encouraged); complete your stamps for a prize. Enjoy fire-rescue extrication and police motors/K9 demos (as available), Parks & Rec gear, Public Works ambassador animals and stormwater activities, Water Utility exhibits, and aviation displays—plus Library story times, interactive robots, and an AI Tech Showcase. Police Chief Monroe DJs on site, and local food trucks will be available. Free parking with clear wayfinding.
