The Chamberlin Park Board is going to host another Touch A Truck event for children and people of all ages.
And we may also maybe invite food trucks. An event to get up close and see firetrucks, semi-truck, ambulance, police car, or other truck whatever we can get. A community involvement day.
*Stuff A Truck*
Help the City of Deer Park - Park Board stuff a truck to donate to the Deer Park Community Schools!
Items Asked For:
School Supplies (pre-sharpened pencils)
Sample toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Regular and super tampons
Ultra Thin Pads
New bags of tshirts specifically L/XL/2-3XL
Ladies underwear packs L/XL/2XL
Individual Snacks PEANUT FREE cheez its, goldfish& granola/ protein bars
Tissues
Clorox wipes
Paper towels
Deodorant
Card games like uno that are quick and can be played at lunch
Baby Wipes
Gloves L/XL
Fidgets
Prize Trinkets for rewards
All of these items were ideas from admin teams and the nurses as well as teachers! These items will be sorted and split between the High School and Amity. Please reach out with questions!
We will utilize the field in front of the New Pavillion, weather permitting, if field is wet we may move to the community center lot...

Tentatively - The Park Board will have some concessions available (while supplies last), we may be selling, Hot Dogs on the grill! Soda Pop, popcorn and candy also! "NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED" Please Leave your coolers at home. However, exceptions for Children with dietary needs then free feell to make a picnic basket.
CASH is good but This Year we will start accepting Tap N GO Pay methods for food and drinks only, Proceeds go to Chamberlin Park improvements.
