Get ready for a day of big wheels, flashing lights and hands-on fun! The City of Rosenberg is excited to welcome back its popular Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rosenberg Civic Center (3825 Hwy 36 S).This free, family-friendly event gives kids and the young at heart the chance to get up close with trucks, emergency vehicles and heavy equipment from the City of Rosenberg and neighboring agencies. Meet the operators, learn how these impressive machines work and enjoy an interactive experience that’s as educational as it is exciting. (Please note: some vehicles scheduled to attend may not be present if activated for official use).
For children with sensory sensitivities, a quiet hour will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., where loud noises and flashing lights will be minimized to create a more comfortable environment for all attendees.
Come hungry! Local favorites The Ice Boxx, To The Spoon & Back, Texas Funnel Cakes & More and Birria Loca will be on-site with tasty treats available for purchase. Plus, there’s even more fun in store with a Bike Show, sand pile, bounce houses, face painting, yard games and more.
