Join Megan Thompson for our Tot Shabbat program at 11 am on July 18th at Temple Israel! Meet other families with small children as we celebrate Shabbat with the youngest members of our community! All are welcome, and temple membership is not required. Afterwards, you are welcome to join the congregation for the remainder of the morning service in the Sanctuary and our kiddush luncheon.In order to ensure appropriate preparation of props and snacks, please RSVP to Penelope Neely at [email protected] with the number of people in your family group as soon as possible and no later than Wednesday, July 15th. A confirmation email will be sent. We can not guarantee that we will have enough supplies for anyone without a reservation.
Tot Shabbat is a joyful and engaging program geared toward families with young children, ages birth to 1st grade (older siblings are welcome too). This 45-minute program includes Shabbat themed songs, stories, a Torah parade, simple blessings, and snacks too!
