Tortured Soul, Colette and Chuck Love at the Viper Room

Tortured Soul is 100% live modern, deep, soulful, house music. Influenced by the classic songcraft of Prince, Heatwave, and Kool & The Gang, Tortured Soul is a collective of incredible international musicians united under a groove-centered rhythm. Frontman and songwriter, John-Christian Urich, leads the group while simultaneously drumming and singing with effortless mastery.

DJ, producer, vocalist – Colette has grown from an integral part of the Chicago underground into a breakout musical triple-threat. On the decks, Colette combines the tunefulness of classic pop songs with the thump of underground house of her hometown.

Known for his signature live DJ set, Chuck Love pulls triple duty as the DJ, a Vocalist and a Multi-Instrumentalist. The result: a ridiculous mix with some slamming, ‘on-the-fly-produced’ tracks showcased within the set. Chuck launched his label, LOVE NETWORK, which showcases his productions ranging from downtempo to minimal electronica to head-bopping 4/4 house - all infused with his signature soulful, jazzy flavor influences of his Minneapolis roots.
