It's that time of the year for the HBCU takeover at (B) LACMA! Calling all friends & families of HBCU's to come out Friday, July 5th for an evening of jazz and fellowship. Our first Takeover of the Summer had an amazing turnout, easily the biggest one we have had so far, and this one may be even bigger. Bring a blanket, bring a friend, and bring food & beverages. Note: Review the museum's policy on alcohol at outdoor events before you attend.
Please arrive early and wear some sort of paraphernalia so that we can easily spot each other in the crowd. Also, Invite all HBCU alumni and friends that you know, but everyone is welcome.
This is a family-friendly event and as the sun sets it will get cool so dress warmly for the change in temp.
So let's have a big turn out and Celebrate Black Excellence with our LA HBCU family. We look forward to seeing you there!
