We advise booking SUNDAY for children’s activities & a book reading
Includes
- 10-15 mins 1-on-1 appointment with one of our volunteer tortoise experts alongside a vet, vet nurse or other professional
- General health overview including beak and nail trimming, if required
- Species identification and sexing
- Discuss any health concerns & ask husbandry questions in a non-judgmental setting
- Get written notes to take home with you
Multiple tortoises?
No problem, book one ticket and fill in the booking form to let us know how many you are bringing. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK MORE THAN 1 SLOT!
Tortoise transport
Tortoises MUST be contained in a safe container. A creche will be available to leave them in safely while you enjoy the event. We do not allow mixing of tortoises at the event.
Wait times
We are all volunteers and our appointments are in extremely high demand. We aim to see you at your given time, however there can be 30 min waits during peak times. Booking guarantees you a slot and moves you to first in the queue. Walk-in times cannot be guaranteed.
Worming & microchipping
Not offered at this event - unfortunately we had to make the tough decision to not run this service this year. We will offer discount codes at vets when they become available.
