Torrents First Friday: VonCommon's Celebration!

The Confluence Center (Western Montana's Home for Nonprofit Events) art program Torrents is thrilled to present a magical evening of art, music, and community! This month we are hosting our favorite artist collective VonCommon for their annual art show!
VonCommon is a nonprofit communal art studio helping artists create art and community since 2011. Besides providing low cost studio space, VonCommon has always excelled in creating a safe communal place where artists can find each other and thrive. Many of Missoula’s favorite artists found their roots between VonCommon’s walls, and this year we want to celebrate all the joy this special collective has brought to life.
Come see a variety of artists there to support VonCommon:
Abi Gontarek, April Dearduff, Ashley Huotari, Brooke O’Shay Sheridan, Courtney Blazon, Gretel Stoudt, Jennifer Baylis, Julee Hall, Kent Means, ladypajama, Maia Hangas, Nikci King, Stacey Klocke and more!
Opening reception will be First Friday, September 4th, 5-8pm at the Confluence Center at 119 W Main St, Missoula, MT, and will also feature DJ Madhatter! Then be sure to stick around for the Afterparty from 8-11pm held in Confluence Center’s back patio area. Celebration! will remain on display through September 4th and can be seen by appointment through the Confluence Center: 406-926-6526. There will also be a Closing Reception held on Friday, September 25th, 6-8pm.
