Torquay - you said you wanted an event local to you, rather than having to travel to Exeter. Here's your chance to book a seat in at Ephesus to enjoy its flavoursome Turkish and Greek style cuisine. Located just a couple of minutes from the harbourside in Torquay, in the former Pizza Express building, it has ample space to cater for diners and never fails to delight. Fantastic value and extremely tasty.

How do we know they're like you? Season 1's events were enlightening, and we weren't really sure who would join us - but how pleasantly surprised we have been!

Most who join us are open, curious, and friendly - often well educated, sometimes well travelled, single or partnered. They come not just for the meal, but for the laughter, the conversations, and the chance for something different that might lead to new friendships.

It's the food brings us together but it’s the people and their stories that make the evening memorable.

Our guests are mostly in their 40's to 60's but ages vary, backgrounds differ, and everyone has a story worth sharing.. Some are business owners, some are retired, others are working professionals. Some have had life circumstances thrust upon them and are looking to build up again; it doesn't matter, you are all welcome at our table.

You might leave with a new friend, a future travel companion, or simply the warmth of having shared time with good company. Do please join us.

The seat price does not include any food and drink you order. Regrettably tickets are non-refundable but can be passed on to another person for the same event.

Dinners With Friends Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued:

If the event is cancelled (or not fully performed) or postponed to more than 90 days after the original date.

If the event description presented to the consumer at the time of purchase is significantly different from the actual event.

If access cannot be granted to the Consumer due to capacity, safety issues, or venue issues. In circumstances where the consumer has special access or dietary needs (e.g. ramp, lift, hoist etc.), it is up to the consumer to check suitability with the venue before booking.

Ticket transfers to a new date are limited to a maximum of two occasions in each 6 month period, and must be used or are forfeited within six months of the original booking date. Tickets may be passed on to another guests who will attend instead of you.
