Toronto Mayoral Debate
About this Event
Join us for an exclusive event to hear directly from candidates running for Mayor of Toronto in this year’s municipal election.
Torontonians are struggling with rising living costs, unaffordable housing, precarious work, and inadequate income supports. For too many, even full-time work or post-secondary education is no longer enough to make ends meet.
Toronto saw over 4.1 million visits to food banks in 2025—more than four times pre-pandemic levels—highlighting the growing scale of need across our city.
As the city heads to the polls on October 26, Daily Bread Food Bank together with community partners is hosting Toronto’s first mayoral debate of the election.
Moderated by Daily Bread CEO, Neil Hetherington, this debate is an opportunity for residents to hear directly from mayoral candidates on how they will build a city where everyone can thrive.
Join the conversation. Help shape the future of our city by being an informed voter this municipal election.
