Toronto Jewish Film Festival: The Safe House

Toronto Public Library is partnering with the Toronto Jewish Film Festival to make a limited number of complimentary tickets available to select screenings at this year's festival. Simply register for your ticket on Eventbrite, and give your name at the theatre box office for admission.

Adapted from Christophe Boltanski’s award–winning memoir, The Safe House follows a 9-year-old boy living with his free-spirited Jewish family in Paris, as the student protests of '68 explode. When they hide an unexpected guest, humour and memory intertwine. Featuring Michel Blanc's final role, the film blends whimsical visuals and vibrant jazz with a heartfelt reflection on history and family stories.
