The CNE is one of those classic Toronto summer traditions — but what if you’ve never been? Or you’re new to the city? Or you’ve always wanted to go but never had anyone to go with? That’s exactly why we’re doing this!
is bringing singles & friends together for one fun evening at The Ex — so you can experience the food, games, shows, attractions and all the classic CNE chaos with a group of new people.
Whether this is your first CNE experience or you’ve been going every year since you were a kid, come join us! 🎡
✨ What to Expect
We’ll spend the evening exploring The Ex together, including:
🎭 Catch 1–2 live shows or performances together
🍴 Hit the Food Building and try some of the crazy CNE food creations this year
🐄 Check out the Farm and see the animals and agricultural exhibits
🎯 Play carnival games and see who gets competitive 👀
🎡 Explore the grounds together and take in the classic CNE atmosphere
🛍️ Free time to do your own thing — go on rides, shop, check out an exhibit or hang out with people you’ve met
As you can see, we'll have a few planned group activities throughout the evening, but this isn't your typical structured dating event and non-singles are welcome to come!

You don't need to come with a date or a group of friends. Come solo — we'll help you meet people!

Date: Wednesday, September 2
Time: 6:30 PM–10:00 PM (with option to arrive later and/or stay later)
Location: CNE / Exhibition Place
We'll send the exact meeting point and any final event details to registered attendees before the event.
Come ready to walk, eat, play, explore and meet some new people!
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
🎟️ is NOT included. Based on the CNE website, weekday admission after 5 PM is expected to be approximately $13 + taxes/fees (price only available on weekday after 5pm). You will purchase your CNE admission separately.
💘 This is a Singles + Friends Social! Singles are encouraged to attend, but non-singles, friends and couples are also welcome. You do not need to be single to join us!
👫 No gender ratio is enforced. This is a casual social experience, not a gender-balanced speed dating or singles event.
🎫 Your Toronto Dating Hub ticket covers our event curation, hosting and group facilitation throughout the evening. Hosted by our founder who is a professional dating coach, emcee, event planner - you'll be in good hands!
🍔 CNE expenses are not included. Food, drinks, rides, carnival games, shopping and any other purchases are optional and paid directly to CNE & its vendors.
🤝 Toronto Dating Hub is not affiliated with the CNE or its vendors and does not receive commissions from your CNE purchases.
🌧️☀️ RAIN OR SHINE! CNE has indoor & outdoor spaces and will proceed rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
👟 Come prepared to walk! The CNE grounds are large, and we'll be moving between different areas throughout the evening.

If you've been following - in the last 6 years, we've always organized different activities and events every month - from wine tasting, jet skiing, salsa dancing, to treetop trekking - just to name a few.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Money (cash & credit card) for the rides, games, food, shopping
- Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen - whatever you need to be comfortable outdoors
- Please wear comfy clothes / shoes for outdoors (jacket or layer for the evening)

Spots are capped to keep the group social and easy to mingle — grab your ticket early!
What if someone makes me uncomfortable or is disrespectful?
Please let us know immediately during or within 24 hrs after the event so we can act swiftly. Actions may include addressing the individual in question, offering guidance, or restricting future attendance.
Pricing:
The ticket cost covers the event organization/hosting. Eventbrite charges separate fees to use their service.
It is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as we often sell out!
Not Included:
- CNE admission or any of your purchases/expenses at CNE
NO REFUNDS will be issued should you change your mind or you can no longer make the event for whatever the reason (review why we don't offer refunds). The ticket includes a $5 deposit which will be deducted from your credit amount should you NOT be able to attend the original date. NO credit will be offered if you cancel within the same day of the event or for no shows.

Ticket prices reflect the full experience, not just the venue or a drink. You’re getting:

If socializing feels challenging or you want guidance, consider . Many attendees find this helps them feel confident, meet new people, and clarify what they want from dating.
Will there be food & drinks?
We will not be providing this - part of the experience of CNE is to try their food & drink optionos on site - but this is additional and up to you what you want to consume and try.
Why is there a cap on attendance?
To ensure this is a good, intimate enough experience for everyone.
What is the parking situation?
You can TTC right to the Ex grounds, but if you drive, there are lots of paid street parking & parking lots nearby.

Andrea is a proud UTSC Co-op Management alumna who has over a decade of experience in marketing and events. She took her passion & experience and channeled it in her business venture - starting Toronto Dating Hub in May 2020 during the pandemic. It has since been featured on CBC News, Toronto Star, and Flow 93.5. The mission is to transform the way Toronto singles meet - via unique events and tailored date coaching. Because of her in-depth experience planning events, but also having been single, Andrea can not only organize creative & well organized events, she emcees the events herself, and provides coaching to clients. Hosting over 4K singles annually, Toronto Dating Hub has positively impacted the Toronto singles community.
