What fuels and sustains activism and organizing when it feels like our worlds are collapsing?
About this Event

As part of Weeksville's Black History Month Celebration, we invite you to an afternoon of radical imagination, organizing wisdom, and transformative dialogue. Organizer, archivist and author Mariame Kaba and a panel of movement leaders will discuss the devastating impacts of criminalization on our neighbors. We'll also discuss Let This Radicalize You—a timely and essential guide for those committed to justice, mutual aid, and collective liberation.

This insightful conversation will explore the realities of grassroots organizing, the centrality of criminalization under authoritarianism, the necessity of care in movements, and how we can sustain hope in the face of struggle. Local groups fighting against criminalization in NYC will be tabling at the event so come learn about their work. Don't miss this chance to be in community, reflect, and radicalize together.
