"The Joan Fort Trio is one of the latest projects of the catalan guitarist and composer based in Amsterdam. During Joan's stay in New York in the Fall 24' he got to meet and work with some of the greatest players from the NYC jazz scene. Upon his return to Europe, he has started to collaborate with some of his heroes overseas. This time, the Trio is joined by one of the great living masters of Jazz Saxophone: Mr. Vincent Herring. Throughout his career, Herring has played with some of the most iconic bands in Jazz history such as Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Freddie Hubbard, Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, among many others.
They will be presenting the new album "So Far, So Good" (2025) by the Joan Fort Trio, with the addition of Vincent's mastery to the band.
