Sona Najafi is a distinguished Quantum AI Scientist renowned for developing scalable hybrid quantum-classical solutions for real-world applications. Prior to joining IBM, Sona held a prestigious joint associate fellowship at Harvard and Caltech, making significant contributions to advancements in quantum simulation, quantum generative and variational algorithms, and quantum neuromorphic computing. Recognized as a leader in her field, she received the Google Quantum AI Award in 2019 for her pioneering contributions to quantum technologies.
