Tools to Support Self-Awareness: For Yourself and Your Clients
Duration: 3 hours
Self-awareness is foundational to personal and professional development. It underpins emotional regulation, resilience, stronger relationships, improved mental wellbeing, and more effective decision-making. Developing self-awareness enables individuals to lead and live with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
This practical and engaging three-hour workshop is designed to help professionals to deepen your own self-awareness while equipping you with structured tools to support the development of self-awareness in your clients.
What the workshop will cover
Participants will:
- Explore clear, practical ways of understanding self-awareness — both personally and in client work — and how it supports growth and change.
- Gain a range of conceptual frameworks and practical tools to enhance self-awareness.
- Learn how to apply these tools ethically and effectively in professional settings.
- Practise key techniques in a safe, supportive environment to build confidence and competence.
During the session, we will introduce and practise:
- Human Needs Audit Tool – identifying core drivers of behaviour and motivation
- Mental Fitness (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy – ACT principles) – building psychological flexibility
- Learning Styles Audit Tool – understanding how individuals process and apply information
- Brain Profiling Tool – increasing awareness of cognitive preferences and patterns
- The Johari Window – exploring blind spots and strengthening interpersonal awareness
- Values Analysis Tool – clarifying personal values and aligning behaviour accordingly
This session is interactive and application-focused, ensuring that you leave with practical tools you can use immediately — both for your own development and in your work with clients.
Whether you work in a community or corporate setting, are a sole trader or are a manager of a large team, you will learn skills to use in your everyday working and personal life.
