About this Event

Tony Turner channels the ties that bind and the mood of these times with his articulate, often witty songs and engaging stage presence. Currently a resident of Nanaimo BC, for decades Tony honed his songcraft in the Ottawa folk scene. Tony’s 2025 album, Survivor Tree, features songs of change and resilience from personal, societal and historical perspectives. Circle of Song, Tony’s signature anthem of unity is sung far and wide and is published in the popular Rise Again folk songbook. In 2015 Tony's politically charged singalong Harperman became a YouTube hit, the centrepiece of rallies across Canada and garnered the writer a Spirit of Folk award from Folk Alliance International.

Online ticket prices are sliding scale $20/$25/$30 Tickets at Door $35

Tony will perform two 45 min sets with a 15 min intermission. This is a sober event with light snacks and beverages available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30pm.
