Monday Practica Schedule
7:30 pm Tango Foundations + open practice for all;
(Experienced dancers can practice dancing starting at 7:30 without cortinas; 2 song tandas with cortinas start at 8 pm
Regular TANGO FOUNDATIONS SERIES for Beginners (and review for experienced dancers!) every Monday!
1.The "Baldosa" parts 1 & 2 - dancing with connection
2. "Cruce" and "Basico" Parts 1 & 2
3. The "Rebote" and "Ocho Cortado" Parts 1 & 2
4. “Ocho Adalante” – The Forward Ocho Parts 1 & 2
5. “Ocho Atras” – The Back Ocho Parts 1 & 2
6. The “Giro” – Rotating around your Partner Parts 1 & 2
7. Putting it all together
(With only 30 minutes for each mini-class, we will likely devote 2 or even 3 Mondays to each topic.)
Matias Sotto guided us in creating this new series of TANGO FOUNDATIONS mini-classes to continue refining our Tango skills.
For newer dancers: Grasp the basics of Tango more quickly & easily
For more experienced dancers: Discover new levels of grace & power by refining your fundamental skills .
8:00 pm Practica with cortinas for everyone
8 pm occasional technique lesson for intermediate dancers.
$5 requested contribution to the Lab for overhead. (No one will be turned away!)
