As im sure many of you know, I celebrate the anniversary of my stroke by holding a charity gig, every year.. I say celebrate and I do celebrate, I celebrate the support I've had from everyone, family, doctors, nurses, therapists, local musicians and venues, friends and last but in absolutely no way least, all of you beautiful humans.. thank you � this year will be no different and as much as I'm humbled by the turnout and the absolutely amazing audiences, quite a few people have told me that they would have loved to have known about it sooner because they couldn't attend, so.. I'll tell you now (obviously I'll let you know/remind you closer to the time as well) I will be performing in the The Castle Tavern 22nd August (the forth anniversary of my stroke) at 3pm (nothing beats an outside gig on a sunny afternoon IMHO) the event will once again be free although I will encourage donations to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. Last year we raised over £1000 for this amazing charity and hopefully the gods of rock n roll will see fit to make this year even better, so, if you're interested then stick the date in your diary/calendar, have it tattooed on your forehead or have it embroidered on your favourite socks. I know it's a couple of months away but I'm already working on the set and every year its getting better and better so I'm really excited. If you can make it along to help give stroke the middle finger.. I'd love to see you there.
