It's that time of year again... time for TRC's annual fireworks show!
What is the Tongie Split?
The Tongie Split is a well-known local weather phenomenon centered around Tonganoxie, Kansas, where approaching thunderstorms often appear to weaken, split into two separate storm cells, or divert around the town before re-forming farther east.
Despite the lack of definitive scientific evidence, the Tongie Split has become an important part of local identity. Residents often joke that Tonganoxie has a "protective bubble," and local businesses, events, and artists have embraced the phenomenon as a source of community pride.
We like to celebrate this weather phenomenon with FREE banana splits! We will be handing them out while supplies lasts.

🎆 Reynold's Snack Shack will be open for business!

🍌 Glowing, light-up toys and accessories!
🗿📄✂ THE ULTIMATE Rock, Paper, Scissors COMPETITION
Meet us on Baseball Diamond #2 at 7:30 PM and join the challenge. Once there, we'll partner everyone up and you will have a minute to perform rock, paper, scissors - best 2 out of 3. If you lose the round, you're out! If you win the round, you'll find a new partner and get ready for the next round. We play until the last person wins! Winner will receive a small prize.
