We are thrilled to welcome Tomás Corbalán to Romania, for the very first time!
Join us for an amazing tango experience; Tomás will share his passion and knowlege, April 6 to 10, 2025!

Bio
Tomás is a Buenos Aires native, has been teaching, performing and choreographing regularly all around the world, America, Europe and Asia, for the last 14 years.
After living for 10 years in NYC, now he is living in Europe.
Tomás believes in the harmony of Tango, as artist and teacher, he truly believes in the beauty, each way tango can bring.
He had taught in „El beso”, Buenos Aires, one of the most traditional schools of "tango Milonguero" as well in the most nuevo events or locations, like "La catedral" Tango nuevo festival of Buenos Aires, etc.
Also choreographed couples for championships, trained couples for salon, and had also the opportunity to do the choreography of the World Culture Festival 2016, having the responsibility of training and making the choreography for more than 150 dancers and was the main couple of the same show.
His philosophy and vision blends the most traditional knowledge with the current discoveries and the body and mind awareness.
Looking forward of sharing a healthy and open mind way of tango, but whithout losing the essence of what makes tango, tango.

Basics elements for improvisation and connection. Building the language from simple to complex.
•4.30pm-6.00pm (INT/ADV)Understanding the axis and off axis (social colgadas and how to use it and why)

MONDAY, 7th April:
•7.00pm-8.30 pm (AL) Tango Nuevo concepts. What makes tango nuevo?
•8.30-8.45 (AL) Technique session both roles
•8.45-10.30 pm guided practica

WEDNESDAY, 9th of April:
•7.00 pm-8.30 pm (INT) Pivots and sacadas
•8.30 pm-8.45 pm (AL) Technique session both roles
•8.45 - 10.30 pm guided practica.

THURSDAY, 10th of April:
•7.00pm-8.30 pm (AL) The beauty of each tango stlye.

Where:
All the workshops, practicas and private classes will take place at „Sala Polivalenta”, Calea Piscului 10, sector 4, Bucuresti.

Package and registration:
Full pass - 600 lei (120 eur). The price of a full pass can be paid in two equal payments as follows: 1/2 upon registration, 1/2 at the event
Individual class - 150 lei (30 eur)
Individual practica 75 lei (15 eur)

Donations for the event - in the account of "Asociatia Compas Tango Club", you will receive all the details after your registration.
Limited places for workshops, practicas and for private classes; registration for group classes is recommended with a dance partner; single followers are accepted if they agree to change roles;
consider full confirmation after the payment, or registration is cancelled if the mentioned deadline payment has not been done

Cancellation:
In case you need to cancel, we reimburse the full amount if cancellation happens before 31st of March 2025, no refund after 1st of April 2025. We will not cover any bank transfer fees.
In case we need to cancel the event, for any official regulations, any external, unpredictable unavoidable event, we will reimburse the total paid amount.
