What happens when refugees aren't just recipients of aid, but entrepreneurs, investors, and economic partners?
Join us for a Tomorrow Talk with authors John Kluge Jr. and Christine Mahoney, co-authors of Banking on Belonging. They'll explore how refugee entrepreneurs are building businesses and revitalizing communities, and introduce Refugee Lens Investing, a framework for directing capital toward refugee-led enterprises.
Half the ticket proceeds go to Kiva's World Refugee Fund. Following the talk, Thistlerock Mead Company will offer a tasting of a new mead made with refugee-grown coffee beans, and books will be available for purchase and signing with New Dominion Bookshop.
