About this Event

Welcome to the Tomadachi Food Fest!

-- Presented with support from Kirin Ichiban USA and Asahi Beer USA.

Tomodachi means "FRIEND" in Japanese, and that's the whole idea.

On September 5th, Rockville Town Square turns into an open-air food festival built around the food and the fandom we grew up on.

What's Happening

• 🍜 20+ food vendors - street eats, snacks, and desserts all day
• 🛍️ Merch & artist vendors - prints, pins, plushies, handmade goods
• 🏮 Anime-themed décor throughout - the whole square dressed up. Built to feel like stepping into the world we grew up watching
• 🎤 Main stage all day - dance performances and DJ sets
• 🎭 Cosplay encouraged - come as your favorite, or come as you are
• 🐕 Pet friendly - leashed dogs and cats welcome
• 🎏 All ages, all day - 11am to 8pm, rain or shine

All of it outdoors, all of it free to walk into.
