About this Event

This free tram tour will visit the graves of key individuals associated with the burial and establishment of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The tour honors the 105th anniversary of the burial of the World War I Unknown Soldier, which occurred on Nov. 11, 1921. Participants will explore the significance of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and honor the service and sacrifice represented by the Unknowns interred at Arlington National Cemetery.

• This tour is free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required through Eventbrite.
• Attendees should meet in the ANC Welcome Center at 9:15 a.m.
• The tour will be held rain or shine — please dress appropriately for the weather!
• Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the tour will include walking stops across uneven terrain.
• Bring water. Bottle-filling stations are located at various locations in the cemetery.
• The tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
