Join fellow History and Museum friends on Saturday, August 29 from 10:00-12:00 at the Oldtown Rotary Park building for a super special presentation by Tom McArthur. this is part of the Historical Society's Annual Meeting and Tom will be the grand attraction. Tom is going to share some great videos of Pend Oreille County from long ago and also debut an exciting new project.
Tom is the host of Northwest Profiles on KSPS-PBS - only the third host in 39 years. The program will begin its 40th season this fall. Northwest Profiles is the longest-running feature news program on Spokane television.
Tom has produced more than a dozen historical documentaries for KSPS-PBS - most recently, an award-winning film that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Expo74. you may remember Tom's days as a KREM 2 newsperson. #POCHSNewport #America250WA
