On Sunday, Nov. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m., Tohono Chul and the Tucson City of Gastronomy present Terruño: Flavors of the Desert. This annual event celebrates the food, wine and culinary traditions of the Sonoran Desert.

 

Terruño is a one-of-a-kind tasting experience highlighting local chefs and Arizona winemakers. Guests will enjoy innovative dishes featuring autumnal artisanal flavors and regional wines while having the opportunity to meet the chefs and winemakers who developed them — all set to live music by local performers among the stunning gardens of Tohono Chul. Featured chefs and wineries include:

  • Ryan Clark, Loews Ventana Canyon
  • Devon Sanner, S + P Creative
  • Travis Peters, S + P Creative
  • Ramon Delgado, Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort & Spa

  • Callaghan Vineyards — Elgin, Arizona
  • Deep Sky Vineyard — Elgin, Arizona
  • Twisted Union Wine Company — Elgin, Arizona
  • Laramita Cellars — Willcox, Arizona

This is a 21-and-older experience. Early bird tickets are $125 per person when purchased by Monday, Sept. 14. Ticket prices increase to $150 per person on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
