Together We Bloom Exhibition Launch
About this Event
In collaboration with No Place for Poverty, Together We Bloom is a community craft project bringing people together to create handmade flowers that raise awareness, spark conversations, and encourage action around poverty.
Over recent months, our Makers group has gathered at Holy Grounds to make flowers while sharing stories and reflections on poverty, community and caring for one another. The project has also grown beyond Holy Grounds, with people across Perth creating flowers at home and in community spaces to contribute to the exhibition.
Every flower represents someone choosing to pause, create, and contribute to a wider conversation about poverty and community care. Together, they form a collective expression of participation, connection, and compassion.
Everyone is welcome to join the Makers at Holy Grounds every Thursday, 11am–1pm. No experience is needed and materials are provided. Flowers made by 31 August will become part of the Together We Bloom exhibition.
Join us for the exhibition launch at Holy Grounds on Thursday 24 September, as we celebrate the creativity, conversations and community spirit that have brought this project to life.
