Together We Ball -Skills and Drills Camp Registration

Project Unity’s Youth Skills & Drills Camp hosted by the SMU Men's and Women's Basketball Teams is for rising students in 4th – 6th grades. This exciting activity is part of our Together We Ball community event! Students will learn important basketball skills, techniques, character building, interact with other youth from the metroplex and spend time with the SMU basketball team players and law enforcement officers who will be on the court. We are pleased to host this camp at no cost for community youth.

Eligibility:

- Must be in grades 4th, 5th and 6th only in any public, private or charter school.

- Rising 7th graders and above are not permitted to participate. No exceptions.

- Must pre-register by Friday, September 5, 30, 5:00 p.m.

- One registration per youth. Each eligible sibling must register individually.

- Parent or adult chaperone must attend the camp. No drop offs allowed. Exception is if a youth group is attending and has multiple chaperones (one per 5 youths suggested)

P erks:

- Participants receive camp goodie bags and event t-shirt.

- Participants receive snacks.

- Participants receive a complimentary ticket for a concession meal redeemable during the community hour and Big Game.

- Invited to stay for the entire day for activities, face painting, high school game and Big Game.

Other Details for Parents:

- Free parking in Moody and Binkley garages.

- A Know Before You Go will be sent to the parent/chaperone 2 days before the event. Check your spam or junk mail.

- 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Skills and Drills Youth Camp

-1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Community Resource Fair and Family Activities

- 1:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.: High School Exhibition Game

- 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. : Dallas Mavs and Community Entertainment on the Court & College Campus Tour

- 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: The Big Game! Pastor, Police and Community Leaders!
