The Oratorio Society of Virginia is dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of music to inspire, connect, and uplift our community. As part of this mission, our annual benefit event, Together in Song, serves as a celebration of choral artistry and a testament to the meaningful relationships music can help create. This event goes beyond performance—it’s an opportunity to connect with and give back to our community by supporting local organizations making a difference. This year’s program will feature Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs as well as other works by a variety of composers including Rosephanye Powell, Libby Larsen, and Morten Lauridsen. For 2025, we are thrilled to announce that Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle (LCVA) will be the beneficiary of Together in Song. LCVA's dedication to empowering individuals through literacy reflects the same values of growth, enrichment, and transformation that guide our work as a performing arts organization.
