Todd Nature Preserve with 52 Hike Challenge - Pennsylvania

Todd Nature Reserve was the first property of the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania and is part of the Buffalo Creek Watershed Conservation Plan.

We will plan to hike the Red Loop approximately 2 miles and the Shoop Loop which is an additional mile. There are 6 total miles of trails at Todd so if the group chooses we can add more mileage at the end. This area is typical western PA forests including a possible stream crossing, rocks, branches and some minor elevation. The trails are rated as easy / moderate but be sure to have appropriate footwear and trekking poles and the 10 essentials. If conditions are snowy and icy - traction may be necessary. Please plan ahead.

If you are joining with a friend - The Audubon Society has asked that we carpool because parking is limited.
