Free entry, and great to enjoy a drink & some delicious food to!The Toby Brazier quartet focuses on performing jazz standards from the swing era to bebop and through to the modern fusion 60s and 70's periods of jazz.
The band consists of superb local West Yorkshire based musicians Will Powell on Guitar, John Arnesen on Drums, Jose Canha on Bass and Toby on trumpet and vocals. Often, they create projects focusing on the music of particular jazz
artists such as Miles Davis or Chet Baker to name a few, whilst also endeavouring to challenge themselves musically by playing some of the more obscure more technical tunes by artists like
Wayne Shorter, Benny Golson and Herbie Hancock.
Regularly they play at Matt and Phreds, Manchester and at the Domino Club, Leeds and recently they have performed some tribute nights to the aforementioned names. They too hold a
third Thursday of the month jazz jam at the Exchange Bar, Bradford, to which all are welcome to attend with their voices and instruments.
