This guided tasting, led by Andy Upchurch, will take you through a curated lineup of premium toasted expressions, each showcasing how secondary barrel finishing enhances flavor, depth, and complexity.

You’ll learn what makes toasted barrels unique, how they differ from traditional char, and why they’ve become a favorite among distillers and collectors alike.

• Michter’s Toasted Sour Mash
• Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Toasted Heritage Barrel

Each pour has been selected to highlight a different interpretation of the toasted barrel process—from spice-forward rye to rich, dessert-like bourbons.
