Join us in 2026 for our year-long film series REEL REBELS. We’ll be screening films known for their renegade characters, including stories about underdogs fighting the odds, lonely voices crying to be heard, and moviemakers struggling to share their vision. REEL REBELS showcases works from across the globe that prove that movies will always be a home for nonconformists, dissenters, and rebels. The series continues in May with TO BE OR NOT TO BE. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Ernst Lubitsch directed this audacious 1942 comedy about a troupe of Shakespearean actors who become entangled in the hunt for a German spy in Warsaw during the Nazi-occupation. Comedy legend Jack Benny stars alongside screwball queen Carole Lombard in a funny, unique perspective on a dark and troubled time period, all presented with the “Lubitsch touch.”
