Experience the true story of the wartime romance of Pvt. William Corson and his fiancée Jennie Caldwell as they reminisce about their long-distance courtship during the Civil War. Pvt. Corson, a documented soldier of the Virginia 3rd Cavalry Unit, wrote letters during the Civil War to his sweetheart back home This interpretive play, based on the surviving letters, presents the powerful and far-reaching impact of memories as a family legacy.
