TNSG Tactical Combat Casualty Care

Tennessee State Guard Foundation (TNSGF) will host a Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC) training at the Tennessee National Guard Volunteer Training Site (NG VTS) in Smyrna, Tennessee (about 15 minutes from the Nashville International Airport) on 01 March 2025. All SGAUS Members receive the discounted registration fee of $100. Regular registration is $150.

This training will meet practicum standards for the SGAUS Basic Emergency Medical Badge (EMB), as well as National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Tier 1 (TCCC-ASM) standards. Instructors for the TCCC training are NAEMT instructor certified, and graduates of this 1-day course will receive NAEMT Tier 1 Certification. NOTE: This 1-day course meets the practicum requirement for the SGAUS EMB. Additional requirements for the SGAUS EMB are described on the SGAUS Medical Academy web site, along with the application for the EMB.

Morning session will be devoted to classroom instruction. Helo hanger has been reserved from the TNARNG for the class practical on Saturday afternoon. Uniform is Class C utilities, or civilian khakis and polos. Note: only SDF personnel are authorized Class C utilities on Smyrna VTS, and government ID is required for uniform wear. All other students will wear civilian attire. All students are required to have ID at all times, and is required for entry onto Smyrna VTS (state drivers license or other authorized ID with picture is acceptable for civilians).

• 20 student limit - first come, first serve.
• Course materials to be provided on site.
• Hotel accommodations are available at site adjacent to Smyrna VTS at military rate. Hotel link to be provided shortly.
• Dining facility (DFAC) available to all students, with all meals under $10.00.
• Transportation to Nashville, Tennessee is student responsibility.
• Uber costs from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Smyrna VTS are reasonable (approximately $25.00).
