Michael Henchman
Hailing from the evergreen Pacific Northwest, Michael Henchman's imagery-rich songwriting often draws inspiration from roads less traveled that have beckoned since childhood - living across the U.S., in Europe, and many years in central Alaska. His music has been described as "progressive folk, mixed with redwoods, diners, grassy plains, a generous dash of longing, and a bit of road dust for texture." His life experiences instilled a deep reverence for wide cinematic landscapes - both real and metaphorical - and of how the heart becomes entangled by time and distance; of journeys on the quest for connective meaning that we all share.
Michael released his third collection of songs in January 2025 - “If The Sky Fell” - a mix of alternative and contemporary folk, roots, country, even a touch of jazz; full-band arrangements with spacious, textural stylings.
Greg Stone
Greg Stone has been a musician for most of his life. For the past 20 years he has been involved with the bluegrass scene in the Pacific Northwest performing in a band and teaching. He is the founder of Taborgrass, a group class for all instruments in Portland. Since the pandemic Greg has turned his music efforts to songwriting and recording, entering into more of a pop/folk genre. His live performances are with a band called The Tabor Mountain Boys. They play a mix of bluegrass, folk, pop with each member of the band contributing their own original material as well.
